Blurred Background — Participants can now enable a blurred background during Breakout sessions. You will find this when joining a Breakout room.
"Explain score in Insights" Button (screenshot attached) — Instructors can now click "Explain score in Insights" next to any participant's score in the Gradebook to launch AI Insights with a pre-filled prompt. The prompt includes the student's name, group number, rubric scores with labels, quiz score, talk time, and group average talk time — and asks the AI to explain the scores using transcript evidence and participation patterns.

Disabled Breakout Learning Catalog in LMS After Section End Date — When a section has passed its end date, launching Breakout Learning via LMS (course navigation or assignment selection) now shows an explicit "Section ended" error screen instead of the catalog. No new Breakout section will be created for an expired LMS section. Existing assignment launches and historical results remain fully accessible.
Previewing a role-based experience now allows full navigation — Fixed the role guard banner that prevents advancing slides during experience preview. You can now preview role-based experiences with the next slide button.
Conditionally Hide Instructor Rubric Results if There Are None and Conditional Hide Conversation Map from Session Results
The instructor assignment Summary, Results, and Gradebook tabs — as well as the Participants tab and in-meeting results view — now conditionally hide all rubric-related cards, columns, and sub-tabs when the slide deck has no rubrics. Instructors of rubric-free decks will no longer see empty rubric sections. When rubrics exist, all current behavior is preserved.
The Conversation Map and Performance Feedback cards are now hidden on the student-facing Session Results screen when the slide deck has no rubrics defined — replacing a permanently empty "our system did not capture your group discussion" state with a clean layout. The Group Balance Score card expands to fill the row when the Conversation Map is hidden.
