Release notes — June 2, 2026

Highlights

  • Group Range Slider (screenshot attached) — The group size configuration in assignment settings has been updated from a single max input to a range slider, enabling instructors to set both minimum and maximum group sizes in a single unified control. Instructors can now configure a minimum group size on an assignment. If a group falls below the minimum, participants see an inline error ("Session requires at least X group members") and the Join Session button is disabled with an explanatory tooltip. Instructor group cards show a "Below Minimum Size" alert for any under-filled groups. Auto-assignment may temporarily create invalid groups, but they're always visible and clearly flagged.
  • Allow Participants to Discuss Poll Results — The Interactive Poll slide type has been significantly expanded. Instructional Designers can now: enable task progress and Solo Bot on poll slides, configure a Result Display mode (Results Only or Markdown), and edit poll questions and answer choices directly. In "Markdown" mode, poll results render in a right-aligned card alongside the discussion markdown on the left. Participants can view poll results as a read-only element during discussion.
