Block Participants from Joining a Room Without a Published Audio Track — Participants can no longer click "Join Session" until their microphone has captured audio, preventing silent sessions and transcript failures. A red warning banner now prompts them to speak before joining.
Instructors Can Force a Room to Be Complete — Instructors can now manually trigger grading for rooms where students left before reaching the end-of-session slide. A "Force Complete" button appears on the Single Group Management dialog and Admin Demos page after a room has been inactive for 60+ minutes. Requires confirmation before triggering.
Preserve Groups & Schedules on Assignment Version Upgrade — Admin can now upgrade an assignment to a newer version even when groups and schedules already exist, as long as no participant has started a session. Group composition and scheduled session times are fully preserved. Upgrade is blocked only if any session has already started.
Improved Datepicker — Datepicker now will default the time when scheduling a session to the next available time today (even if they click a future date).
Add "View more in Insights" Button to Student Details View — A new "Get deeper explanation in AI Insights" button now appears in the Student Details modal when an AI rubric score is present. Clicking it navigates to the AI Insights tab, opens a new chat, and auto-sends a pre-filled prompt asking for a deeper explanation of the student's score with specific transcript references.
Improvements and fixes
Pressing Enter after updating a custom section pass price no longer removes the pass from the list.
Update Design of Join / Rejoin Session Mini Modal.
When "Unassigned Only" filter is on and search returns no results, the empty state now includes a link to turn off the filter.
Rename Slide Types for Session Processing and Session Results> — "Session Processing (Retired)" and "Session Results (Retired)" have been renamed to "Session Processing (For Demos Only)" and "Session Results (For Demos Only)" to clarify their intended use.
Accessibility
Refactored the Left Side Nav so automated AXE accessibility errors are no longer skipped during testing, ensuring violations surface to developers.
