Release notes — February 26, 2026

This release focused on platform reliability, accessibility completion, and foundational infrastructure improvements. We shipped several stability fixes across grading, assignments, and browser compatibility, delivered new instructor and CX tooling, and completed all remaining accessibility improvements for UC Berkeley. Behind the scenes, we made meaningful database and monitoring upgrades to support scale and long-term architectural improvements.

Highlights

• New Features — Instructors can now un-assign all groups from an assignment in one action. We also fixed an issue for CX to view chat logs. We also have an internal script to swap slide decks on upcoming assignments, that will become a UI tool in an upcoming deploy.
• Accessibility — All accessibility improvements for UC Berkeley are now complete. This deploy also includes a batch of additional a11y fixes across the platform.

Improvements and fixes

• We shipped several fixes to improve platform stability — including better handling of grade sync failures for LMS-connected courses, a fix for assignments showing incorrect empty states when cancelled, and improved error messaging when a student's browser doesn't support our video discussion tool.
