Release notes — February 19, 2026

This release focused on improving the instructor experience, search usability, and grading reliability. We reduced clutter in class views, made catalog search filters smarter and more persistent, and shipped several quality-of-life improvements for instructors. On the technical side, we improved LMS grade syncing performance, strengthened infrastructure scaling, and expanded analytics data. We also fixed a cross-browser issue with Brightspace and cleaned up a number of internal workflows and admin tools.

Highlights

• Search & Catalog — The instructor catalog search now supports a "featured" filter, and search filters persist when navigating away and back — no more re-entering your criteria every time.
• Instructor Experience — Cancelled assignments are now hidden by default in instructor class views (less clutter!).

Grading and LMS integration

• We shipped several fixes to make grade syncing with LMS platforms faster and more reliable, including batch processing to prevent timeouts and better handling of large classes. We also added filtering options for AI grading runs, so in the future, we could enable the ability to re-grade specific students or rubrics without reprocessing everything.

Instructor experience

• A handful of quality-of-life improvements for instructors landed this week:
• Rubric names now display above descriptions on the Experience Show page for easier reference.
• Clearer messaging around peer review on the grading slide.
• Improved invitation language in the participant section.
• Student Join Group instructions now adapt based on group size settings.
• Role labels now appear on video avatars in the discussion room when Roles are enabled.

Search and catalog

LMS integration

• Fixed a cross-browser compatibility issue that was causing the Brightspace assignment confirmation flow to fail on non-Chrome browsers.
